藍染とは、日本で伝統的に行われてきた藍を用いた染色技法です。染色方法としての歴史が古く、昔からジャパンブルーとして広く親しまれ、愛好家も多い色です。本アイテムは「本格藍染」といった技法が使われています。「本格藍染」は合成染料を用いず、植物藍だけで染めること、また染めたもののことをいいます。そのため天然の藍植物を用いた染めを提供する方々は「本格藍染」と称し化学染料を用いた染色と差別化を図っています。

表地にはリネン生地を使用、生地の表面に糸のカタマリやスジがあることがあります。そのままの麻の茎や繊維が混ざっている物もあります。リネン生地の自然な風合いとしてお楽しみください。裏地には適度な厚みのあるコットン100%の生地を使用でデイリーに使用しても快適し、洗いをかけて着慣らした風合いに仕上げているデザイン性と着心地の良さの両面に定番の1点。
