Aizome is a dyeing technique using the plant dye "indigo". Also, the dyed fabric itself is sometimes called indigo dyeing. The plants used vary depending on the region, such as knotweed, which is the mainstream in Japan, Ryukyu indigo from Okinawa, and leguminous tree indigo in India. Dyes with a pigment called "indigotine" extracted from these are collectively called "indigo".

A beautiful indigo color appears when the process of washing the dyed threads and exposing them to the air is repeated. Repeating this process creates shades of blue. This item is available in two colors: dark blue dyed 18 times and light blue dyed 12 times. A simple piece that expresses the depth of color by changing the concentration of dyeing using indigo dyeing.
